I am straight and I have never asked such intimate questions of any gay males.
Gay women on the other hand, were different. Why? Well to tell the truth it was a turn on of sorts at first. Then one day I was fortunate enough to meet and become friends with a Bi-sexual girl and learned stuff by asking these intimate questions. I learned for example, what really turns a woman on physically and emotionally. I learned how to really be gentle, soft and loving to a woman. Just the way a woman can be to another woman. That learning was a very valuable lesson for me and I am forever grateful to this girl for taking the time to explain this very sensitive stuff to me. And this knowledge has not failed me yet.
Seeking such knowledge should not be labeled as being confused. I am a better person because I asked such intimate questions. The problem was not with me. The problem perhaps was with the women who did not care enough to give me the answers.

How come its ok for you to say that straight people are strange, but when a straight person says the same about a homosexual everyone's up in arm....
Any way, to answer you question... maybe its couse many straight woman identify with gay men better that straight girlfriends. My brother is gay and, so is my best male friend, and I talk to them about everything in my life. Its just natural that I would post questions to the gay comunity as well!

I can't vouch 100%, but I think the answer is:
Who better to know what women or men like or want then women that please women or men that please men. Plus Gay's are stereotypically more sensitive, so there is less chance of being verbally abused for a sensative topic.
I can't say it is right as I am straight, but don't ask intimate questions on a gay site.

Straight men can learn a lot from a lesbian. Being straight.....I like to learn new skills with my tounge. A gay male has nothing I need to know.

for what it's worth I would think straight people tend to be less confused than gay or lesbians would be. on that gay site you go to, they are just wanting to know what you would say to their questions from your point of view
