You could probably pick it up on a seismometer in the immediate vicinity. A Richter 1 earthquake is about as powerful as a passing truck.

no as an earth quake is created by earth movements and that would be people movements, you would create "seismic" waves or shock waves so you would create a "people-quake"
it would be a large field, and im sure someone would fall over so you would also get the dominoe effect with people falling over.
