Hi,

I'm looking for references from films about trains, anywhere in the world, ideally the more modern the better because I'm not so much interested compartmentalised trains. i.e. a bit more like the train in Mission Impossible than the Orient Express.

Nevertheless I'd like to hear any suggestions whatsoever for films set on trains or with reasonably lengthy scenes on trains! From any time period.

I'm looking for

a) general modern train interiors

b) behaviour on trains i.e. what people normally do

also, importantly:

c) dynamic behaviour on trains - people running through the carriages, jumping over stuff, dodging luggage, meal trolleys, that kind of stuff...

Even just cool dynamic playful behaviour or dodging stuff, running through an assault course.... in the style of Jacques Tati or Buster Keaton (The General!!) whether it's on a train or not would be interesting to hear.

Sorry for the strange question. All ideas welcome!
Thanks a lot.

Under Siege 2 with Steven S. Cheesy, but on a train.

I can think of a few. Wild Wild West had a lot of scenes on a train. Polar Express had a pretty cool CG train. Also try: Planes Trains & Automobiles, Some Like it Hot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Those are all I can think of off the top of my head. Hope it helps.
