suspicious. very suspicious. It is well known that the pressures on the suncontinent are greater than those in any other part of the world, due to the greater number of angry fans and intrusive media, due to a greater less educated population, and less sports for more people, as in only having cricket as a sport, where other countries have many more sports. At first I thought Suicide then I thought Murder, by some crazed pakistani wanting to make him pay and blame him for pakistan's early exit, but then I just can't decide between the two, I would rule out accidental death and say it was either murder or suicide. Moreover I am now leaning towards murder because he was about to reveal something about match fixing with bookmakers and pakistani players, in a tell-all book. However I still couldn't rule out suicide.

Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka) is the heart of the Cricket world. All four countries here play in the highest level of cricket. The reason behind it is, cricket is not only a game here. Its something like a religion, a culture specially in India and Pakistan. Cricketers are far more popular than the movie stars here (keep in mind that India's Mumbai or Bombay is the second largest film city in the world after Hollywood which is called unofficially 'Bollywood'). People are crazy here about cricket and mass-media is more crazy than them.
People respect the cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Inzamam ul Haque, Sanath Jayasuriya, Mohammad Ashraful nearly as God. But only when they win matches! If they fails to do so, then people want to crucify them if they had chance!
So being a cricketer or Coach in this region brings ultimate pressure. When Pakistan loses an easy match against new team like Ireland, their Coach Bob Woolmer easily knew that how people and media is going to re-act. He was unable to face this criticism. So his brain and heart just gave up under such pressure.
Are you now clear why Woolmer died?

still very much suspicious ! sometimes i feel its a suicide, and sometimes homicide ! But for bob woolmer......so i would say he was realy a gentleman.and he was much needed now for Pakistan he owed alot to Pakistani nation.....I m still very much depressed for him and so is all Pakistan ! peoples are shocked and have even forgotton the defeat and some political crises that Pakistan is facing these days...they just mourns for Woolmer...and if this is true that he was murdered then the person responsible for it deserves the worse punishement ever ... whoever he is !becuase this notion is even adding to our grief that he was murdered ! I wish it should not come out to be a murder ! May his soul rest in peace !

After the Post mortem, it is suspected that Woolmer may have been murdered. Police is investigating in the matter and clear picture will emerge only after the investigation is completed.

I have just heard the news that the post Morten report is inconclusive. Which makes this a conspired murder. For Pakistan's sake i hope they find a good enough reason. Bob helped Pakistan to a number of victory's and for something like this to happen for a defeat it is appalling and a outrage. I am not accusing the Pakistanis, but they will not be ruled off until further evidence.

I think it's a disaster for the WC. There were news reports that he was poisoned. There are speculations that he was murdered because he knew about the match fixing scandal that was unearthed while he was coaching South Africa.
