Despite all the so called bench mark tests and people that say Intel dual core is the best in the real world and independent testing there pretty much equal with one exception Intel always costs more.The one test a lot of people always guess wrong is gaming,AMD beats Intel hands down,At every turn, AMD beat it to the punch. Even the Athlon 64 X2 3800+, the lowest end of AMD's dual-core CPUs, is better suited to 3D gaming than Intel's highest-end Extreme Edition 840 CPU, which lost by a full 10 percent. In multi tasking AMD also out performs Intel !I really get a laugh out of people saying how great Intel is without really knowing the facts.One thing Intel does is out advertise AMD so by people not in the know believe everything Intel says and buy Intel.

I think Intel makes faster chips. Usually AMD is alway playing catch up. May be AMD are better at making it work better with available memories.

Amd are the same efficency they are a different brand like Mc Donalds and Burger King.
