i have a link to be able to open calendar on my screen and dont want it there as it gets in the way of my wallpaper, its appears to be on every nokia n73 but wondered if there is a setting to remove this?

The only way to take off the calendar is to turn off the active standby to do is: menu-settings-phone-standby mode-active standby off.

As Phil says above, all you can do is turn 'active standby' off, go to 'Settings/Phone/Standby Mode and turn it off, but Phils missing the important point that this will also remove the 6 icons (lazy answering phil)

It is not possible to turn the calendar reminder off on its own.

There is a 'hack' coming, known as the 'missing nokia configuration tools', which would allow it...but its not out until the summer at best.

my n73 doesn't have it on, i don't know how to put it on but it proves it doesn't have to be there. hate this complicated slow phone
