the indians. they got off to a slow start last year and losing c.c. sabathia early slowed down the pitching. sizemore and hafner will be in the top 10 offensive players by the end of the year and victor martinez should be solid as usual as he will play a little 1st and dh. also, huge improvements in the bullpen should save a difference of about 10 games from last year.

With Cliff Lee out until at least June, Cleveland took a big hit. And with Sabathia being hurt in recent years, if he goes down, it is all over.
It should be a 4 way race. If you are out of it at the end of May, you are done.
Detroit should be the favorite, and for good reason. But will their young arms hold up? And Rogers, Pudge, Maggs, and Sheffield are getting older. Can they hold up?
Do the Twins have enough pitching? Will Bonser step up and be the #2?
Can the Sox get their starting pitching straight? Can they win enough when it counts?
It should be a great season, and it is anyones call right now.

i say detroit. i'm down here in fort myers right now for twins training and their pitching staff is going to need lots of help to win a division. the indians are on the way up and could surprise many like the tigers did last year. chisox will hang around and help beat up every team in the central. royals are the royals but could steal a few wins from division teams. tigers to win the central, and i think atleast 3 or 4 teams will battle for the WC until the last game. jays, bosox, twins and angels.

I like the Twins if young pitching comes through. No I do not think the wild card will come form the Central. With 4 very good clubs and young and improving KC. Teams will beat up on each other. So wild card will be NY , Boston .

The Tigers win it and the Indians get the wild card. Sox will have to wait another 88 years.

Boy as an Indian fan its great to see all of these mentions as the Indians as winner, but right now I have to say the Central goes thru Detroit.
I can't see the WC coming out of the Central however, but I think I am going to surprise some and have Texas winning it.

Tough division but it will be a battle between the Indians and White Sox. The Indians had a off year but I expect them to be right in the hunt this year. The Indians could surprise some people this year.

I think its really gonna be a tight race between Detroit and Minnesota. I think one will win the division, the other will take the wild card.
