My fish have ick....!!!?
hi all
my fish have ick, and ive just bought some treatment to treat them with, the thing is i dont know how much to put in. so if i write what the intructions say could somebody kindly tell me...
dosage:-
fish saver should be used when water temp is between 21 and 33 degrees and cent
1) normal parasites (including white spot), fresh water fish gill diseases and gill parasites:
two to three consecutive treatments on alternate days (i.e. on the 1st, 3rd and 5th day)
during each treatment, add 8 drops of fish saver in each imperial gallon of water.
note: width x height x length x 6.23
1728

my tank measurements are:- L92cm W32cm H38cm
which i believe is about 29gallons (i could be wrong?)

can anybody tell me how many drops i should put in? and any other information you think i need to know would be brilliant.

thanks in advance

your tank is 24 imperial gallons, 29 US gallons (silly huh?)
do you have a pipette or cup for it? work out how many "drops" a pipette or cup holds...and then do some quick maths. (oh my maths hurts my head)

i got 192 as well, which sounds a bit silly to me.

make sure you take any carbon (charcoal) elements out of your filter before you medicate. i wouldn't turn off the filter, the filter being off for 1hr can have effects on your good bacteria, especially if your filter is out of the water (hang on the back etc)

1.201 imp gallons equal 1 gallon so 29/1.201=approximately 24g so 24x8=192 drops . that sounds so wrong but if that is what it says then so be it. and ur filter has to be off for 1hr after treating. i must have used a different brand.
