How many words do I have to answer this in?

Seriously, it really depends on the country you live in and your cultural/ religious background.

I find that, as a woman, I lead a very rich and satisfying life. Of course I have my down days, Murphy days when everything that can go wrong does!!! - but I love my life and have no desire to be a man at all. My value as a person comes from my identity as a Christian.

In many countries women are denied basic education, respect, and courtesy. They are treated as slaves and worse than animals. You only need to read autobiographies such as "Slave" by Mende Nazer, "Burned Alive" by Souad, "I Choose to Live" (sorry can't remember her name - she's Danish) amongst others to see that some girls don't have the opportunity to live a rich and satisfying life. In China there is a terrible rate of female infanticide due to the one child policy and inheritance laws.

IF all were as it were supposed to be, then men and women would live equally rich and satisfying lives, albeit in different ways as we are fundamentally different.

I wonder if this is what you were asking?

A palace male eunuch surrounded by 100 naked concubines leads a richer life in general than a slave girl.

I don't think gender matters. Because happiness in life isn't about how much you get...it's about appreciation of what you have been blessed with.
