Bigots understand very little. I'm surprised most of them can put their underwear on the right way. Most of us straight people with half a brain understand that gay relationships are very similar to straight relationships except that gay people have more crap to deal with from azzholes. The love that two gay men or two gay women feel for each other is no different from the love that a straight man and woman have for each other.

Bigots never realize anything that they do not want to. That is the problem. The nice thing is that Gays and lesbians don't really care what bigots think and will go on having loving relationships with more intimacy that they will ever know.

There will always be those people who believe that gays and lesbians are less than human. As a member of the gay and lesbian community, I try not to focus on those people and I certainly do not waste my time and energy trying to change them. The best we can do is lead by example.
We do not appreciate when someone tries to tell us that our lifestyle is "wrong" or that what we feel is "wrong". Also, it is not my place to tell them that they are "wrong" either. Diversity is a wonderful thing. The ability to live amongst many different cultures, lifestyles, races, and also religions is a true blessing.
I, personally do not like being 'judged' by anyone, therefore, what place is if ot mine to judge them? It's not.

never, hence the word bigot. Realizing that would take too much thought. Most people hate and are bigotted and don't even know why. They know nothing about the group they hate except what they hear other people parrot.

bigots are bigots because they are ignorant! because they believe in every lie, assumption and generalizing stereotype that's ever been fed to them! until they wake up and get an education, I'd say the chances of them realizing that we are real people capable of committed, loving relationships are zero to none!
