The Indian Cricket Team will win the ICC World Cup 2007 only if they play every single match as they did against Bermuda.
If they lose against Sri Lanka, it's all over!!

The World Cup Cricket 2007 has started without a clear favourite to win the cup. Thanks to the recent debacle of Australia. Which two teams will reach the final ?. Any team which reaches the semi final has a chance to win the cup. Cricket is a game of glorious uncertainties, which is the beauty of the game. My choice for the world cup semi finals are Australia, New zealand, West indies and India.

With the defeat against Bangladesh chances of India entering Super 8 stage have become doubtful and they can enter Super 8 only if they defeat Sri Lanka, which is not as easy as playing against Bangladesh or Barmuda. If India perform the same way they performed against Bangladesh against Sri Lanka, Indian teaam can take an early flight to India. However, ihey manage to enter Super 8, they have a chance to win the world cup.

Hey if it was in my hand then definitely India would have won the World Cup but Indian team sunk all our hopes when they lost against Bangladesh but with their historical win against Bermuda they gave us a ray of hope .
But this is a very critical situation to judge anything about India winning the World Cup.

Yes. But they have a big psychological barrier to cross... the match against Sri Lanka. There are better teams in the competition, but the Indian team's confidence will get a boost if they manage to dig themselves out of the hole and make it to the Super 8s.

of course they will! xD firstly, did u see their ROCKING performance against bermuda? yes, i know it's ONLY bermuda, BUT they did play SO professionally... secondly, they have to fear their life if they leave the world cup before reaching the super 8... they might have to stay in the west indies cause coming to india might not only be well, life-threatening, but painful... thirdly, i believe india should FIELD first against srilanka cause they can count on their batting but NOT on their fielding and bowling (they have a lot of polishing up to do there!) BUT, i know india will win... i've been praying day and night and have had NO sleep just to watch the match when i have school the next day... and IT WILL HAPPEN... india will win! they've got the potential, the skill and they have proved it... they have to forget that they lost to bangladesh SO BADLY, but they shouldn't forget that they DID... and we as supporters should to as well... they can do it! After losing to Bangladesh, HA! Coming in they stood a good chance but after messing up so badly...come on. They could still come back though with the help of a lot of bookies.

It may be possible, but we should atleast aim to be in the finals. Play a good game, entertain the public, contribute to the game and have a sportsmanship spirit.
