No, my partner and I are both men, and neither one of us plays what is traditionally a feminine role. We both equally share in all of the household chores, and neither one of us are feminine in any way!

I don't feel the need to adhere to any type of role that is set up by society. I think that me and my husband both use are strengths to make the relationship work. If I am not so good at something and my husband is better then he will usually take control. If I am better at doing something then I will take control of the situation.

Roles are there because of who we are and it does matter that we are the same sex, it is what we want just like any other relationship. So no I don't need to assume a role, I have one and so does my partner, and it works for us.

no, we do have roles somewhat in our relationship, but not because society dictates it. We are just in our comfort zones
