I wish to get pregnant but I'm still breastfeeding and my spouse doesn't want me to wean my baby until I get pregnant, so is it possible I get pregnant while breastfeeding? Does my breastfeeding disturb me from getting pregnant?

Yes, if you are ovulating, then you can get PG while nursing. (Are you having periods?) You can continue to nurse while you are pregnant and can even tandem nurse once the new baby is born.

Indeed you can. There are many children who were conceived when parents used the breastfeeding method of contraception. How old is the child you are breast feeding currently? You don't want to be weaning him/her off too early if you are only breastfeeding.

You are less likely to get pregnant if you are exclusively breastfeeding. But it can still happen.
Once you start introducing formula or solids, then you should be fertile again even if you are still feeding a few times a day.

It might be harder to get pregnant; however, it is entirely possible. Good luck.
--on another note a womans body takes a long time to recover from birthing, if you're still breastfeeding, I suggest waiting for atleast a year. Your body will thank you.

Yes you definately can, i conceived 4 weeks after having my son in March last year, didn't even get a period. I was also breast feding him every 2 hours as he demanded it. Good luck!
