i have one particular friend who does that a lot....
ive come to accept that its just her personality but i also know that she is a very bitter person and still hasn't got over things from high-school etc.
she is also the type of person who gets upset when a work mate for eg is pregnant and she is having trouble with that and she gets happy when she sees pix of celebrities putting on weight coz it makes her feel better about herself.
to be honest, i feel sorry for ppl like that.
they judge their success and happiness on how other people feel about it - so they go out of their way to try and make others jeolous. best just ignore and concentrate on your own life.
