1. Gateway MX6027 laptop--
I could not find wireless internet function when I believe this model comes with it. How do I add it to my laptop?

2. Acer Travelmate 4010 laptop--
I broke the power jack in the back corner of the unit. How do I replace it if I want to fix it myself? Where do I get the part(s)?

For:

1)I don't think that all wireless connection comes with all laptops inclusive of the laptop.Ask the people you've bought it from, or go to your nearest computer shop/repairs and ask what you need.

2)I don't suggest you fixing your laptop yourself. Unlike a pc, I can't seem to get the laptop easily(I compare this to myself), unless you have a personal background on the repairing itself.

1. Go here to download drivers. Remove any conflicts from the device manager. then run the install for the wireless card:

2. Take apart the laptop once you find the part you need take it to fy's electronics, or Radio shack and get it replaced. You may have to order it from Radio Shack when you get to the store.

solution 1) u need to add a wifi card that will be a pcmcia card

solution 2) fixing is simple the trouble is to get the spares

take it into a repair shop unless you know someone that can ghange it out for you at home. you can get just about any part from a computer store.
