No.
All of the animals cant.
they can hear it but no matter how many times u explain to them, they also dont understand =D
Dogs obey human voices. When they hear certain voices they already memorise it in their heads. That's why they move n they seem to understand. But actually they don't.

Animals can't really understand human language. They can learn to understand certain words by association, and they can recognize individual voices, but not the full spectrum of our language. What they do understand, sometimes even better than humans ourselves, is tone of voice, body language and mood. They are very, very sensitive to these three. We give off certain scents depending on what we're feeling, and animals pick up on this, and they can recognize quite well when we're happy, sad, frightened and angry by our tone of voice and the way we move and act. They don't understand our actual words, but when they know us and our personalities well, the gist of what they get from our moods and voices is almost as good as if they understood our verbal language. That is why most pets seem to understand us so well - because they actually do. They can pick up a lot more about what we're feeling, in a more complete way, than another human can by verbal language alone.

it depends on what you mean by 'understand'. Certainly many animals can learn commands and respond to them. Your dog can learn 'sit' and respond to it. What's harder is to determine if the animal understands more complex concepts and how to use them to apply to other situations. Studies have focussed on animals with obviously higher levels of intelligence such as elephants, gorillas, dolphins and even african gray parrots.
The question is, is the animal just learning words or can they understand the 'concept' such as what is a color or what is a shape. From the studies i've seen both gorillas and african grays (alex) can learn concepts and then use them to apply to other situations. Dolphins and elephants and possibly other animals may be able to do so but i have not seen any information on these studies indicating that they do.

Not "any" animal but many can learn. The smarter ones basically like dogs, higher primates, horses, seals. The way they learn to understand us is the exact same way our own children learn to understand us- by association. the difference is that their limited intelligence greatly restricts the amount of vocabulary they can understand and then it is usually only words rather than "sentences" as such.

Dogs and monkeys are known to understand human language. They are taught of course. How else could they learn to obey if they dont understand?

I had a Yellow lab for16 years and I will stake my life on He Understood practically everything that was said to him.He new enough words out of a sentance that he understood what you were saying,,, He was one of the best PEOPLE I ever knew . The people that don`t believe that dogs understand are the type of people that just can`t understand their animals. Just like it takes a certain dog that has this gift it takes a certain type of person also.
