I am going to live abroad and I need to sell the house in question before I leave. My cousin who now resides in Canada has a registered charge on the house. I have already sent him the form DS1 and the guidance notes, as well as several emails, all of which he is ignoring.

I have been informed that I can apply to the HM Land Registry to have the charge removed from the register. My cousin would then have to respond to mine and the HM Land Registry's communications or the charge would be removed. I have contacted the Land Registry but they are not being helpful. I need to know how I can start this process off and which forms are required?
