for the life of me, i can't think of what it's called. dumb, i know. what i'm looking for isn't the plastic pool thing but the frame is made of aluminum and instead of thick plastic strips, i believe the material is made of cloth. it can be folded up. anyway, i was thinking of buying one but i can't even think of what it's called. sorry for the lame question but it's a genuine question. thanks ;-)

I am sure what you are looking for will not be found in patio or pool accesories of any department store.

Look into the camping equipment department of a department store or sporting goods store and you will find exactly what you want...a framed folding cot.

If you find the denim fabric uncomfortable, Walmart sells a dense foam mat for exercising or for an undermat to a sleeping bag... in the camping equipment department. This dense foam mat rolls easily and can be left on the cot when folding and is an excellent choice for multiple uses and costs less than ten dollars.

are you thinking of a chaise lounge? There are hundreds of variations - resin, metal with canvas sitting/laying surfaces, quilted pads for some, etc, etc.
