If you are actually failing, can you withdraw from the class?

Talk to the professor, get a tutor, work with a couple of strong classmates, do extra work, etc. If you don't see any potential of getting a decent grade it might be better to drop the class. You can then plan to try it again in another semester but you wouldn't have to overcome the hit to your gpa.

Talk to your professor first though. Sometimes students say they are "failing" but they are not as bad as they assume. Sometimes professors grade on a curve at the end of the semester, or they take growth and improvement into account, or they drop the grade from the lowest exam. You should make sure you have full information on your status by meeting with the prof.

Be careful if withdrawing puts any scholarships, insurance coverage, etc. in jeopardy. Sometimes eligibility depends on maintaining a fulltime schedule. Good luck!

Ask the professor for additional work. Study hard for the final.

Maybe get a tutor for extra work outside of class.
