I got my bill from Comcast last night and the total was $115.00. I always pay my bill on time and have never been late. They told me that the bill was so high because they are billing me the $40 for my promotion fee but the promotion ends in March so they are also billing me the normal $65 that my bill will now be from here on end.
This to me sounds like they are charging me for 2 months. The woman on the phone tried to explain it to me but it wasn't making a bit of sense. Can anyone please explain, if you know, why I am being charged so much now??

Please don't answer this question if you do not know the answer. And please do not answer this question by telling me to switch to some other company because I cannot do that. Thanks in advance.

I signed up for comcast in September and my promotional fee was $42 a month and starting this month is was supposed to just up to $65 a month. I don't understand why I have to all of a sudden pay $115 instead of just paying the new $65 fee.

Well, I have no idea what "promotion" you have signed up for, or what the situation is there. But many places bill a month in advance. So if you signed up for something new, you would have to pay the present month and the future month.

That said, if you have been a customer of theirs all along, THIS month should be already paid for. You would have paid that last month. The only time I've seen what you are talking about is when an account is newly opened. I can't tell from your question whether yours is new or not.

I took the three month promo. When it was over I cancelled and had my girlfriend Singh up. When it was done I signed up again. After the third time I called and asked to speak with a manger I explained the loop hole and informed him I was going to exploit and share it with others if he didnt make my bill permanently 39.99. We settled for that plus I paid for and received HBO as well.
