~ Yes. I planned to retire from the Navy... from the U.S. Postal Service, and the Home Depot.

~ During those years of working on the employee 'E' side of the Kiyosaki's Cash Flow Quadrant, I was working with various MLM's.
This MLM project work has led to my current entry back into the MLM industry, and I know it is what my previous training has led to.
An opportunity to move to the 'B' side of the Cash Flow Quadrant where 5% of the people make 95% of the country's wealth... I think it's more like 3% making 99% of our wealth in the USA.
I'm excited where I'm at in my life... I have been blessed... I will be blessed even more, now that I'm retired, and building a LEGACY via the TEAM for my children and grand children. Thanks for asking.

No, not at all. I never could have imagined how my life would turn out. After high school I enlisted in the Air Force and thought I'd stay in the Air Force until I retired. You never know what life will bring your way. After 4 years, I was honorably medically discharged and told that I would be in a wheelchair by 30. Well, I'm 33 yrs old and still walking, however, I am disabled and can no longer work. On the other hand, I met my soul mate and am happily married and have a great relationship and personal life. There is no way I could have forseen life taking these turns. I have to say though, that even with everything I've been through, life has been good to me all in all. I now know what true inner peace and happiness are. We never know what life has in store for us, so be thankful for everyday and the things you have.

I think life has taken me in the kind of direction I wanted to go in, but I couldn't have predicted that it would all happen the way that it has done.

I've changed careers from social work to teaching which I'm much happier in, but I couldn't have gotten the job I'm in now and really love unless I'd done my previous training, so I can see how that has fallen into place well for me.

I thought I would have had children by now, but that hasn't happened for me yet as we haven't had enough money to buy a house and settle down properly but again I'm hoping that will all come round for me as well.

I try to keep to the philosophy of being happy within the now rather than keep waiting for something else to happen to make me feel good, cos you could be waiting forever.

So, I enjoy every day and see the joy within what I have right now, cos I am a bit of a fatalist, like you say life takes you on the journey - I believe that the main path in life is predestined but you have to watch for the signs to guide you along the way, but in the end you'll end up pretty much where you need to be so really we shouldn't stress about it!

Well, if I could make different decisions, I would never have studied Social Work. I would have gone into psychology and English Literature, even archaeology. Waste of my time. I had good grades but hated the teacher. He ruled with an iron fist, like some Margret Thatcher type. Never cared for it.

College was far too political. I went there to have a good time, meet people and get an education. Meeting people from Japan was far more interesting to me than listening to the latest cult of personality read something out of the Communist Manifesto. I hated hearing about radical feminism. I got the idea women should work, be pro-choice, harassment is wrong, all of that. You just want to tell them to shut up at some point. Most young women are not like this, but are getting indoctrinated into radical politics. They should live in a world free of serious chauvinism and hardcore harassment from feminists.

Anyway, I would have travelled more. I can still do this, along with learning to snowboard and playing the guitar. I am thinking of a novel, getting poems published, doing readings, work for a local organization, etc.

No. But the forks in the road are never foreseen. You make the choices that are placed in front of you. At times, they may not be the greatest choices, but you try to choose the lesser of the evils.
I believe you can change your life, but circumstances aren't always cooperative.

No it hasen't - not that I am unhappy with my life or anything like that, but ten or fifteen years ago I probably wouldn't have guessed that I am where I am now, doing what I am doing now. Life takes a lot of strange twists and turns sometimes, and they aren't always all bad either.
