Obviously I don't think most guys get it. I mean I like watches, shoes, and cars. But I only have a few watches, and some shoes, but I don't go nuts.

One of my best friends bought 17 pairs of shoes last week in a day!

Can someone explain to me this obsession? I walk into a Coach store and I know my wallet and I are coming out quite a bit lighter.

I'm female.. and I dont get it either.. call me nerdy or a bookworm.. I'd rather spend my money at the bookstore with a coffee and a great book!
My only obsession really is video games.. (I HAD HAD HAD to get FFXII the minute it came out..) and cars (but I can't afford anything but my Monte.. ;)

Well, I think it has to stem from the media.. "You have to have this... This is in for summer '07.. Must looks for fall... "... goodness.. there is no uniqueness in being obsessesed with the hip. Besides.. the 80s are back.. ugh.. I'm only 27 and I remember making fun of my sister back then.. and its coming back.. and she laughs in my face...

i are not getting it. in effortless terms some pairs are mandatory. I extremely have some super finding shoes, yet i'm achieved procuring for them until eventually I placed on my black stilettos out lower back. i might say because of the fact adult men stare at females in heels, that's why some females like those. Plus, they might thoroughly exchange the way an outfit seems, and make you taller (how cool is that?). Plus, obese females will consistently slot in them. that's a cliche answer, yet i've got observed obese females in my existence are extra fascinated in shoes, nails, and upload-ons than the skinny females. i think of that's to make up for being obese.... that's in all probability offensive, yet despite. BA: Books for me, besides. I extremely have soooo many bookshelves throughout my house. Plus packing bins of them in closets. BBA: regulation or Society and lifestyle, i think of BBBA: do no longer attempt to p.c.. in too prepared a manner. It slows you down, and by utilising the top, you're basically shoving the canines in a field with some spoons. Admit now you in effortless terms ought to shove stuff in, and don't waste time pretending you are going to label each and every thing and be prepared approximately it.

Females like to dress nicely. Very nicely. As a woman, it is nice to get beige shoes with a beige skirt, or jacket to "match". Black shoes with black nylons, with a black skirt, either a color different for a blouse, like red, or black, just to look "put together". I was raised, however, to have one pair of dress shoes (black-to go with everything), and a pair of tennis shoes, and a pair of slippers. However, as an adult, I did venture out a little and get a beige pair of slip on heels.I have seen other women dressed in a red suit, with matching red heels. Jewelry to help "enhance" their attire. Necklaces, matching earrings, sometimes a bracelet. A watch, for sure. Bags, again, to "complete" the look of being well "put together". Matching, or well coordinated colors. Like some women like to do interior decorating of their homes, (most actually to a degree) we also like to "decorate" ourselves. We like to look nice. It makes us feel good. We feel more confident when we are looking "our best". Men, usually "match" but not always to the extent we women do. The shoes, match the suit, and the socks are not always the white sports socks, but nice, argyle socks, etc. And, the tie and shirt need to go with the suit. I hope this helps answer your question. Take care.

Really it is a "girl" thing. I always was in the generation that had to have my shoes, handbag, and Hat match. So can you imagine how many of each I had?? Men have different things that they like, but give me a store having a shoe sale and I am there.

Its to keep up with trend. you need to match your shoes with every outfit.

You cannot wear yellow shoes if your wearing everything blue. it will totally clash. its all about mixing colours, matching it and getting it right.

you definatley need different bag with each item.
every bag has its purpose.
Day bag needs to be big, so you can have everything that is essential for day use such as make-up (all type of makeup, foundation, podwer eye shadow, mascara, blusher lipstick etc), also we girls carry (am not sure if all girls do, but i carry)
vaseline, tissues, pen, paper, phone, perfume, deodrants, wallet, mint sweets, hair spray, mirror

different shoes,
1) to wear to work
2) day shoe, i.e shopping shoe
3)going out shoe, dinner club etc
3) summer sandals
different type of shoes to match clothes, and depending on weather

i do admit, i have brought loads shoe, that i only wore once and never again.

The desire to "preen" predates our commercialised society. The first example of this obsessive behaviour among the fickle sex comes with a fossilised piece of matted hair containing mamoth bones knotted into it. This proves that females pertain to a generally inchohesive lifestyle that should not even be attempted to be understood in terms of male logic lest said sacrosanct logic be corrupted.
