I need fashion advice.?

Question

I am a 41 year old petite lady. I am in a clothing rut, and am looking for ideas of where to buy some clothes that I like and will fit me. Can anyone please recommend websites of retailers that will have nice..not too frumpy, but not too trendy for someone my age? I want some fun pieces, but I don't want to look silly. Thanks!!! p.s. not too expensive would be nice!

I'm 27.. but I've grown out of the hip stage.. mostly cause I'm a working professional! eek! (plus the 80s are coming back! oh dear god.. I remember making fun of my sister [a maddona wannabe back then!]

Anne Taylor (I'm petite too.. I REALLY love this store, a lil pricey, but worth it, plus they have outlet centers)

Chico's (this is more the sophisticated ladies!)

The Limited (for the younger crowd, but I'm sure you can flaunt it!!)

White House|Black Market (very nice place, but pricey)

The clearance parts of trend-wise shops like Bealls or Kohls or in spite of fantastic shops you stay by ability of. The clearance section oftentimes has stuff that's sturdy for someone petite (i know, i'm short). once you're having problem searching pants that fit correct then ignore the pants, skirts are always sturdy for a petite body, and that i want longer skirts. i do not imagine mini skirts flatter short legs in any respect.
