I was beside a man that shot another man in the back with a shotgun when I was ten. This left me with terrible fears for some time but I finally had to face it on my own and deal with the fear by following it and understanding it. Now I do not have that problem.
Parents and other adults at the trime would not believe what i saw but years later they finally found the truth in an old photo that placed me there. Well not so old but seems old now.

Cugo scared the bejesus out of me! Not now though, I've got 5 dogs, but I'm still scared to go into some "creepy" basements. Mine's not creepy at all, so I'm good.

I am afraid of lightning, and yes it still gets in my way to this day. I have this fear because of my father. When I was about3 or 4 years old, I was on our back porch playing during a thunderstorm. He told me I need to get back inside or the lightning will strike me and fry me like a piece of bacon. To this day, I will not go out when there is lightning. If I am out and about and it starts storming really good, I will wait in the store for it to stop before I try to run for my car. Jeezzz, thanks Dad!

I remember that about age 8, I actually forced myself to talk to my monster and tell him to stop scaring me (in my dreams). Now, what scares me is the lack of something to be afraid of. If that makes any sense.

When I was about 6, Jason Vorhees scared me, but then again I probably shouldn't have watched the Friday the 13th's at that age.

I had pink curtains beside my bed and they had large bouquets of flowers on them. At night they looked like monster faces and I was terrified of them. My mum and dad didnt understand what the fuss was about and so I was terrified of the monster on the curtains for years.

I'm scared of the human monsters. There are no monsters. Humans create them.
