I go through that quite a bit...LOL! You just get sick of the same stuff over and over again, whether it's people, situations, what society pushes on us, etc. Also it can depend on how old you are and what stage of life you are going through. At times, I get moody, nothing appeals to me and I get irritated and I feel like a wind up toy just going with life. How I see it when I go through this is that I need some sort of change in my life or a change in a situation whether it be a job, move to another town, relationship, etc. I think everyone goes through this one time or another and more than once. It can also mean you are burned out and need to get away for awhile and regroup and reflect on what is going on within you.

This is known as Divine discontent. This stage comes to those who find nothing meaningful in this world and the relationship with others. This is a good sign since the progress in spirituality is directly connected to this discontent. When you start understanding the impermanence of the joys and sorrows you undergo, you reach this stage. nagarajan.

Yes, because we are bombarded each day by the media with lots of grotesque images and also very cynical ones and extremely cynical supposedly entertainment programmes like the Simpsons, which I refuse to watch on that basis!
