Talk about milking it, at the risk of being shot down by the masses who clearly love this stuff i gotta say, give it a rest eh?. Depps going to be the Ken Barlow of the silver screen if he keeps playing this (flogged to death) part.

i enjoyed both pirates of the caribbean 1 and 2. I don't mind there being a third one. My main reason for watching them is not for Johnny Depp but for Orlando Bloom. I really like Orlando Bloom. When movies make the first one and then a sequal, you think okay thats good end it there but then you have the Scary Movie series, Final Destination series, Scream series and all those other movies that have 3+ movies that tell the same thing. It gets to a point that things get boring and no one wants to watch. I even have a friend that will not watch any series past 2. She things that it is a waste to have so many series to one movie. The film industry thinks they know what they are doing and count on the people that will watch.

The first movie was good, the second ran in threatres only because of Depp, but I know the third is just going to produce a lot of yawns.

I have to disagree. I actually preferred the second one to the first one. The action scenes were alot better.
I love johnny depp. Hope the 3rd one is good and i think they should leave at 3.

Yes, it is a series, and in the third installment, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones will be playing Jack's father.
