Buzz Session 3/21 (1) - Is Haley the new Antonella?

Question

Constantine and Sarah noted that Haley's new look is very similar to one Antonella Barba. Not only that, but her "scandalous" searches (cleavage, legs) have spiked on Yahoo! Search recently as well. What do you guys think of Haley? Constantine and Sarah think she is coming into her own!

I agree with the Katharine McPhee comparison. Haley is a beautiful woman, but she does have the pipes to back up the looks. Antonella was an awful singer, and had to rely solely on her looks - and a scandal involving nudity - to make it as far as she did. I remember her being the last girl to make it into the final 24, and she didn't even deserve that! The other girl was a far better singer than Antonella and would still be in the competition today if the judges had made the right decision to choose her. But Antonella got chosen because of her looks, and that is the biggest problem with Idol - it's not about talent, it's about who Simon - or Paula - wants to sleep with.

Personally I think more "Katharine McPhee" than Antonella Barba. Especially since Antonella sucked. I think the stylists are trying to give her that sexy next door girl look and if she continues to get better every week she may have a chance to go far.

For Haley's sake I hope not, because Antonella, cute though she is, just isn't that great a singer.

I do think Haley should wear a bra next time, however. OY. That looked painful.

She realy does have that "look" and "act" that antonella showed and i agree she really is taking up antonellas spotlight personally.
