Hello, I want to access/use my home pc via internet when i am at my office, i might need some file which is in my home pc.
Can anybody tell me how can i connect my office pc to my home pc ? Hello ? anybody there ?

If you are going to use this route you will also need to forward certain ports on your home router to your home system. With Ultra VNC you will remote into your system and be seeing your desktop as if you were home and also be able to transfer files to and from the system.

If you want to connect to your computer and control it the best I found is Ultra VNC at http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/
You can use the viewer or connect via your browser. All you need is java installed. This work great if your on a company network. This software also lets you send and receive files from your home computer.

You can use Remote Control that come with Windows. Also VNC is free and works well. If you want to buy softwa you could use symantec's PCAnywhere. Finally you can also use Microsoft's NetMeeting to remote control your PC. I personally use VNC as it is easy to setup and is reasonable secure. Take care security is important - if you can control your PC so can other people if you don't keep it secure.
