Why do women get into the habit of folding their lips inward?

Its a common practice amongst women at times of folding their lips in an inward manner.Any particular reason for it

It's a nervous thing....it's kind of like biting your lip with nervousness but just not quite going that far....I am not sure why the lips have to suffer when you are nervous but it's just a strange reaction! I read an article on why people roll their tongue around outside their mouth when they are concentrating and apparently one area of your brain which deals with motor function shuts down when you are concentrating and you have less control over your tongue because of it. Perhaps this is related to lip control too.....might be worth researching! :-)

yes the reason is plain and simple as the nose on your face, As it looks wierd and also a come on gesture to run your tongue over your lips when they are dry so the suble way of doing it is to fold your lips inward and wet them.

It is a Psychological problem, since women are more beauty conscious . Actually they look ugly when lips folded inwards, it masks their natural beauty.

the reasons vary from woman to woman but whatever be the reasons its one of their famine habits or say beauty.It adds to their faminity
