dragon-princess-witch-girl? if it came across my desk, I'd toss it unread. Why? It's been done to death. Frankly, as an editor I'm sick of all the hybrid stories I see. Half-vampire/witches, half-werewolf/half-faerie/half-unicorn (wait, that would be thirds, not halves). NOBODY CARES ABOUT HYBRIDS! A good story does not rely on such gimmicks.

The fact is, there is a difference between:

"I'm gonna write a story about a dragon-princess-witch girl!"

and

"I'm going to write a story about a young woman that develops mystical powers, and eventually discovers that she is the heir to lost kingdom ruled over by dragons."

The first statement relies too heavily on the "gimmick" to carry it. The second sets up an actual plot. A good writer can differentiate between plot and gimmick.

Are you sure you are 10 years old? Your spelling is better than most of the people in here. To come back to your question, a story of a dragon-princess and witch-girl would probably be interesting if you told it differently than is the norm. Like that book "The Princess Bride" for example. A little different. Make the princess ugly but kind hearted, for example, or beautiful and mean; the witch is on a diet because she's too big for her broom, or likes to excercise every morning; the dragon can be afraid of fire or cocroaches and creative things like that :). People would love it. I still think you should not be online if you are 10. You need to be really careful with whom you chat and who you give your e-mail address to. Because there are dangerous people out here who roam the internet looking for younger people, like you. You should probably let your parents know you come here and follow their advice on how to be safe, while still having fun. It's not only babies who make mistakes. Older people do too. So be safe and take care. And don't forget to press "Best Answer" under my reply ;-) :).

I think that depends on what you want the story to be like. Do you want it to be comical or serious? Funny or Sad? Think about it do your charaters fit? You need to tell us what the plot of the story is, if we don't have that then we can't decide if the charaters will fit, thus making the book popular. Good Luck with your Story!
