I am indian and I don't think so. Race is totally unimportant.
In India education system is developed in such a way that a person becomes intellectual along with the proefessionalism.
Also, they are too much attached with family system, this also contributes a lot

Common Indians never think so. However, if the Indians would be so intelligent, they would not be ruled for 800 years by small number of outsider Muslims and 200 years by the British businessmen. India has no 'excellent' job in the world by them. They always worked very nice as 'assistants'.
Yes, they say about a history of their old civilization (Harappa) on the bank of the river Sindh, even which is not in India now, that is in Pakistan.
Yes, Indians are generally intelligent enough to compromise with and accept anything, any job, any profession, any circumstance and any deal anywhere in the world for their survival. In other words, they are very accepting minded for their survival and existence.
This is the basic reason for what it became possible for the Muslims and the British to colonize them for 1000 years and India received liberty only when they were given that. In the whole history of India, nowhere (except the myth) you would find that India fought big fight against any intruder even though they suffered a lot.
This is the reason, you would find the Indians everywhere in the world from top to the bottom position and profession. If someone says that these panoramas of the Indians exhibit that they are very intelligent then I have nothing to say. I would have to infer that under this consideration, turtles and ants are definitely more intelligent than the lions, elephants and tigers.

Are you talking about American Indians, native Americans, or are you talking about East Indians? Big difference. East Indians are Caucasian and like any other race they have very many bright stars. American Indians have their roots in the Orient, and as you well know the people of China were the first civilization. So, profoundly this would have an affect on how they feel confident in their intellectualism. I am almost positive that we, all races, feel we are of the utmost in intelligence. We may all point to the brilliant in our own cultures and set them as a standard to live by.

If any Indian thinks that Indians are the most intellectual race on this planet, it is wrong. How many world class scientists, doctors, engineers, intelectuals (literature,art) we have? If we are so inteligent why more than 50 percent people still living in poverty, why corrupt politicians ruling us?

Why not we ( Indian ) should think that we are intellectual compare to other nationals because of our culture,family traditions, educational system above all spiritual strength of Vedas & Purans -Gita & Ramayan ect. Sansakirti makes us proud and Intellectual, on this planet.

In plain English there is no doubt of the intellectual and cultural capabilities of the people of India. The British are taking full advantage of this talent pool. Why educate your own people when you've already got 200million educated middle class Indians to choose from. Indians in my experience are not only among the most intelligent people, they are the most intelligent.

Because Indians were more educated than their counterparts way before other civilizations came into existence. We do well in the international scenario too.

rational/logical etc
but indians never invaded any country -like british/american-

They are the highest number of doctors coming to work in the united states. They also have the most telemarketers, sooooo, 1 dozen this half a dozen the other.
