Why do people believe their retirement is safe?

Why do they trust the stock market reports? Have they any idea about the personal background of the NYSE Board of Directors? Does no one recognize the mirage currently called pensions? That the housing bubble is bursting, despite media manipulations?

I diversify so the stock market would not break me. The real estate bubble is making me money for I bought all my rentals when very low and I now just sold.

My retirement is diversified so even a stock market crash could not destroy it.
