I am from India and planning to visit my us client. It would be of great help if someone can list me the etiqutee which I should follow when I am in US. Also, some basic manners and questions which I should not ask to them, or questions which would embarass them. If you can help me out it will be great.

A firm handshake still makes a difference in the business community. Meeting the other person's eyes straight on is also important.

I would avoid discussing America's involvement in Iraq.

I wish I could help more, but I've been out of the business community for a number of years.

Best of luck.

no religion or political affiliation, some will have a hiss fit (tantrum) however you can ask them anything about their wife and they'll never stop talking. =) remember no political or religious ones. most of us americans are pretty laid back, pretty much everything else is open,. oh yeah, dont ask them how biff Jr.s psychiatric evaluation went. he,he,he,he =)
