I would ask the company to put some artwork, I would submit a picture of an eagle which can represent good luck and the horizon in pastel colours which would make it really stand out in black, turquoise or white color (sort like navajo colors). Certain animals are very preteges and represent a certain protector. I would also put in that logo "May good spirits guide you"

...on the "cup" would be a drawing of a wide oval cup with a wisp of steam rising up from it... (just that impression sets in motion the joy and satisfaction of contentment and the anticipation of a wonderful cup of coffee)...... keeping it simple because, less is more......
