Well how do you know that you ovulated on 23rd. Did you take your temperature for this cycle or did you use a fertility monitor or ovulation predictor kits. If yes then perfect timing to conceive was one day before the ovualtion day. i.e. 22nd Normally the day of conception is before you've ovulated so a couple of days before is the best time for sex.

The best time for you if you have regular cycle is almost aleays 2 days before and days after the midcycle putting into consideration that there is some months 30 , some 31 days and only february 28 or 29 days.

the perfect timing is on your ovulotion days. try to make it (with your hubby ) once every 2 days ( within your ovulotion)
