use chikkatext or sms.ac . that is what i use to send sms from my computer to cellphones

you can send through a rediffmail or yahoo mail account! download their mess anger and sign in then send message coloum enter their mobile no. and sms it:
1. go to website of yahoo or rediff
2. search and install yahoo messenger or redif bol
3. after installation sign in with a yahoo or rediff id
4. when the application is open you will get in medium coloum option send where you have to type the recipients mobile no. instead of e-mail id
5. type message and then send it
6. i you can send message to any no. in India till 3 message to a particular no. on a particular day

The only way you can do this is with certain programs or 'services'. Look up Skype on google, its an internet calling service where you can ring landlines or text mobiles, But theres one downside you have to pay for it.

you can send a sms from Yahoo messenger ... check it out .. but not to all countries ... some countries only ..
