having problems booting my laptop i have to sitch off and on several times to get it to work.sometimes i got the phoenix bios screenand sometimes not even that so i keep switching on/off until i get windows to start .i already replace my hard disk but keep having the same problem please help!!!

sometimes bios screen only and sometimes works perfectly but if i try to restart the problem comes again

i did reinstall my os tried first with vista and then xp but the problem stay

you get display all the time when u start laptop or any beep.I am not sure but Problem is with some hardware failure may be cmos battery but it is integrated on mother board of laptop so u should contact some technical person.Can u tell me which brand laptop.If u give some more detail than i can help u better.

exactly same problem with my laptop.
i got so frustrated at such things, coz they are really problematic. The best way to get out of this trouble is to change the chipset. Obviously, there is a problem related to your motherboard. I also changed the motherboard, and it has helped me a lot.

and please, dont try upgrading to a new processor or installing more RAM, that wont help you in any case. Coz i have alreafu tried it.

replacing your mother board won't be the right solution.
It's better to re-install the operating system (Windows/Mac OS).
If it still sucks, then it might has something to do with the BIOS.
