Been to Malaysia many times - I ended up marrying someone from there. A great and beautiful country.
If I were a student there, I would try to gain a scholarship or some other means to study abroad (U.S. or western Europe, or Australia, New Zealand) and just learn as much as you can about how things are done etc - then come back to your home country and let them have the benefit of your education and training.
While you are studying abroad, meet as many people as you can and try to make useful contacts with people in commerce, business, and professions - stay in contact with them as they may be of help later on when you come back to Malaysia
