I never got an outward belly button or navel until I delivered. It did stretch out though but it didn't turn out.

Huh? Some pregnant women who have inny belly buttons do get outtie. I have not had it happen and am 21 weeks. I don't think I will get one. Some people do, but I would not think it would be the sole indicator of pregnancy and unless you are pretty far along wouldn't notice. You may start to around 16 weeks but I guess it would depend on your size.

21 weeks pregnant with baby girl.

The navel only starts pointing outwards once you are REALLY showing and REALLY big - like 8 months pregnant.

Your navel is not a 'turkey timer' that pops out when your done! Sorry, but the answer is NEVER. (use a lot of cocoa butter on your 'turkey' and you might not get stretch marks either..I didn't .. put on lots every time you use the rest room..and boy is that a lot)

mine didn't point outward. i am on my 41st week now. my OB told methatnot all women's navel pointoutward and that a navel that points inward is just an indication that your navel wastaken good care of when you were a newborn bb.

I have had 2 babies and my "innie" didn't pop out with either.
Also with my second baby, I had the brown line down the middle of the tummy but didn't get that with my first!!

Mine never turned out. I waited and waited, because I thought that it was totally cute - but it never happened.
