First and foremost, don't turn the fan off. You could fry your machine. First try blowing air on the fan to clean it of dust (you can buy computer air dust cans at Best Buy or Radio Shack). Then try a little and I mean little squirt of WD-40 on the bearings in the middle. Also, check to see that the fan is mounted securely. Next, if you go into set up mode on your computer, there may be a setting for the fan so it will run more often, but not on high speed. They will usually call it something like "quiet mode". If none of these work, just buy a new fan and install it (it is pretty easy).

there is no application to instruct off the fan, because of the fact the fan is the main crucial ingredient right into a working laptop or laptop to stay away from overheating working example: you're working in a room without ventilation that could be a sunny climate so outdoors is quiet warm all your abode windows are closed and doorways are closed, so the question is Will you be waiting to proceed working? the respond isn't any you will supply it up or or you will possibly die into that room because of the fact of overheating recommendations and no Oxygen and Temperature the comparable way a working laptop or laptop does while the CPU (imperative Processing Unit) gets quiet warm that is going to supply it up and close the laptop right down to stay away from injury and injury, So a working laptop or laptop is ineffective without a fan

The CPU fan runs constantly and MUST be running, if it stops earlier Pentiums and all AMD processors become smoke bombs and later pentiums run slower and slower the hotter they get. If your fan is stopping and starting then maybe WD40 on the bearings will help, failing that it's a new fan.

You shouldn't turn it off - you'll fry your computer. Just buy a new fan and change it then.
