Here is the list, not neccessarily in that order:
Rajasthan (for palaces and colorfully rich culture), Goa (for its clean calm beaches and rocking night parties with plethora of varieties of drinks), Kerala (for its serene backwaters, peaceful atmosphere and herbal massages), Agara (Taj - do I need to say anything), Delhi (for its historic buildikngs, beautiful architecture and lovely markets), Kashmir (provided situation is under control), Khajuraho (for art lovers), Gir Wildlife Sanctaury (for adveture tourism), Gangtok & Sikkim (for those picturesque mountains and paradise for trekkers), and last but not the least: Andaman & Nicobar Islands (as good as other SE Asian islands and much cheaper and safer)
