that would be a great recruitment tool but, I think schools like UNC, DUKE, UCLA, KENTUCKY and, KANSAS, get plenty of applicants on reputation, alone. all high school players would like to go to a perennial powerhouse with, a long, rich history of winning.

I don't think he is influencing kids to attend North Carolina in a way that is inappropriate (payoffs, etc.) If he is influencing kids to go to UNC it's because he has told them what it's like to play for the Tar heels and the great experience he had. The players who choose UNC do so because they want to play for one of the best teams and coaches in college basketball.
