Not sure about the positive and negative for the ECU. But ECT stands for Electronic Control Transmission. The ECT button changes the shift points for the automatic transmission. When engaged, the transmission shifts later, allowing the engine to get to a higher power level and accelerate faster. Gas mileage is usually reduced in
this mode. Use it when you need to get up to speed faster; for example, to merge into fast moving traffic. The normal position for this switch
is OFF.

One SP is positive and one SP is negative. I wouldn't wire anything to the ECU unless it goes there. If you don't know what your wires go to on your ECU then don't attempt anything until you have a schematic and a repair manual for the vehicle. Even then you might have to have some technical assistance from a dealer or a reputable mechanic. The ECU is generally the main brainbox of your car and shouldn't need to be messed with unless you are modifying the operating parameters or installing high performance parts on your vehicle.

do you need help installing somthing? a module/piggyback?
because one tiny mistake could end up with one super big disaster..
tips: if your ECU is not the 'sealed' type (means it can be open' with a screwdriver or alen) remove the battery terminal, and remove the ecu from the socket (harness) .. gently remove the cover of the ECU then u can find/see all the pin outs have their names etc. sp+,sp-,idl,isc bla,bla then mark the wires and start doing your splicing..have them properly sealed and insulated, doublecheck em again and put back the ecu then the batt terminal.. the results its in your hand
