I highly doubt you have any Native blood in you. I am 50% native and my mother is full apache, not like my mother's mother's mother's neighbor was native.
People need to stop claiming their native.
You're ignorant by the way.

It's easier for people with few neurones to generalize about everything: it's easier for them to think Latin America as a racially homogenous place. But I don't blame only them (the yankees), I think most people in world outside Latin America and Southern Europe think that Latin Americans belong to a single race, or other setereotypes. Like some Asian guys from countries like Indonesia that appear here in yahoo! answers asking "why Latin Americans didn't kept their culture after the European colonization, like we did?", as if the population of Latin America is aboriginal like in Asia. I'm glad to know that you're Asian and have a better knowledge of Latin America.
The question you made a few time ago about how many whites in South America... that's difficult to say cause even though there are racial census on those countries, each country has an own view of what is beeing white and each person inside each country has an own view too. But trying to use an international standard (that is, white = mainly European blood and European looking), I'd say that 30% of the population of South America is white. In the whole Latin America, I'd say 25%, once that non-South American Latin American countries tends to have less whites than South American countries, Cuba and Costa Rica are exceptions. (Note that South America and Latin America are different things, that's another common mistake that people make about Latin America). That's about 100 million people. Too much to be ignored, isn't it?

And what race, shall I ask, are you? Caucasian people are not the only race to have colored eyes and light hair. Maybe you should brush up on your topic before you go asking obtuse questions, making yourself seem...well, obtuse.

Americans are not ignorant, just insulated.
By that I mean they never need to look outside the US for anything because they are the strongest, most influencial nation on the planet.
They don't NEED to know any better. Why? The US is a power unto itself.

Every race has its share of stupidity, you can't blame it all on Americans, why can't you just try to get along with people instead of antagonizing them.

America has been called a melting pot for generations. Most of us know and accept this reality, no matter who we hook up with personally. Just what are we ignorant of, in your opinion?
