When i had a very bad accident i had to give up work, even though i had paid tax, National insurance, for many many years the social did not want to know.
My aunt and uncle come over from Germany, made them selves homeless and got every thing, they got grants for clothes, housing items a new house, etc and did not have to pay anything back.
So i do not think it is fair, when British people work hard all their lives, and get nothing, yet people come over and get everything.
I have even known some Bosnians bragging that they have got their driving lessons paid for, what's fair about that?

I cant believe people are questioning you on this, they obviously dont realise that immigrants who seek asylum here, dont just get normal benefits (job-seekers, housing-benefit, child benefit etc etc) they also receive driving lessons free of charge to them, grants to buy cars with and big homes with the housing associated on private estates. Meanwhile the rest of us scrape by on our full-time wages constantly giving to the government our tax and national insurance and never getting anything in return (until we're too old to enjoy it), and heaven forbid should an british citizen who is struggling to make ends meet from time-to-time receive any extra help or benefit.

The one time I ever asked for any help was when I was on Maternity Leave from my job for 6 months. I have always rented privately (not council) (and I have my own house now) and I needed some help paying it. They came round my house, investigating every little bit of paperwork I had to check what I was saying was right, looking through my bank statements and generally making me feel like I had no right to be asking for any help. It would have been easier if I had approached their office wearing a niqab and speaking in a foreign language.

Man, I wish I could move to Spain or Greece and live free of charge of thier government - but thats not likely to happen is it?

No it certainly is not immigration is encouraged simply to create a surplus in the labour market to hold down wages. It is time it was recognised that someone who has only his skill and abilities to bring to the market should be able to seek the best price they can obtain for their services and any one allowed in to this country should have to show that they can support themselves and their dependants and not be a drain on our resources as happens in the U S A.

Just the way the country's going at the moment. The Brits need a license to f**t these days whilst immigrants get a 3-bed semi in the suburbs and a fistful of benefits each week, half of which gets sent back to their native country!!! - That'll really help our economy won't it?????

Of course it's unfair, but who really cares about the native British people? As long as we bow down to the incomers and 'do-gooders'. >:-(
