How do you connect a Samsung American fridge freezer to your cold water pipe for the ice making part. The bit i'm having trouble with is the end of the pipe that comes out of the fridge and has to connect to a washing machine pipe which in turn is joined to the cold water supply. The pipe coming out is smaller than the washing machine pipe. Please help!

Usually the pipe size for an ice maker on a fridge is 6mm and your house supply is 12mm.
Any reputable hardware store, should be able to supply you with the correct fittings to do the installation.
If possible cut a small sample section off each pipe, and take that to the store with you.
To do the installation, you will need 2 shifting spanners, a tube cutter or mini hacksaw.

Most ice maker water lines are standard and I would think that the one for the samsung is too. Go to the hardware store and purchase a ice maker kit, it comes with everything you need, from tapping into the water line to hooking it up to the frig, the one thing you may have to do is drill some hole to run the tubing through. God Bless and good luck.

Your Samsung should have come with a chromium fitting to fit the small bore nylon tube at one end, and to a washing machine valve at the other. Contact the supplier if you did not receive it with the f/f.
