We are married 4 years and 2 year old daughter. All is great until 5 days ago.
My wife been chatting to a guy on internet and had a night out with him on Fridaywhere he paid for everything (which I let her do) while I looked after daughter (we have no chance of babysitters currently as daughter too young we believe).
Now she wants to meet him for coffee on Thursday and buy him a birthday present and then again on Saturday night for same thing again. She hadnt told him she was married then her story changed to she told him she had 1 child, then 2 children, then a guy she sleeps with, then shes married ... all in an hour without speaking to him.
She wants to see him just as a friend so that she can go out as shes bored of being in house all day.
I said" go out with girls, go out as a group, invite him round so i can meet him" then we will see if hes really a mate - she said he would never do it, then she said she will think about it.
Is this out of order, what should i do

I consider chatting with another person and meeting them (the opposite sex) to be a breach of trust. Why is she not spending the time talking to you or making arrangements for you two to go out as a couple?
There are a lot more constructive things that she can do if she's "bored in the house all day"... Take your daughter to the park or library, volunteer, mom's play groups, take up a hobby, take an online class, and so on and so on.
When a woman says that they want to see someone as a friend, don't believe it. Otherwise, you two would be going out to meet this guy as a couple. If the other guy respected your wife he 1.) wouldn't be taking her out, all expenses paid, 2.) he would find a more interesting hobby himself.
I would definitely put my foot down on this one. Tell her if she insists on being a "friend" to this guy, she'll need to leave. She obviously isn't happy but having an affair, at her family's expense, is NOT the answer. You two should consider professional help. If she refuses, again, she needs to leave. She's not keeping her vows.
(I'm so tired of people thinking that as long as they are not having sex, they are not cheating. If the shoe were on the other foot, I bet they'd be ticked off too!)

OMG be a man! Tell her that is BS. Why did you let her go out with him in the first place. If you did it out of trust then TRUST her. One of my best friends is a girl and we hang out all the time with out my girlfriend and nothing happens. I'm sure they allow two year old into coffee shops now days just don't get her a double shot...lol. Duh, he's not going to want to meet you. He meet your wife on the Internet. He wants to hook up.....by the way what is her screen name....lol j/k. Anyway, next time she goes out take your daughter too. Don't be all mad just be cool about it, be a nice guy and love your wife. Don't over love her just hold her hand and be the good husband. Good luck man

omg.. how did you just let her go? My husband would flip out on me if I suggested to go meet a guy alone..
You need to tell her how you feel as soon as possible..tell her that your marriage is being ruined by this and you are hurt..
In the meantime get some keylogging software to find out what exactly they talk about on the computer. I certainly would want to know what my husband was saying to a woman on the internet...
If she understand her mistake either you two work it out together or seek a councler

Everything seems to be in order if you get off watching your wife being unfaithful....
Why do you want to meet the guy? Why do you call her unfaithful if you are letting her do it? You know all the cards on the table therefore it can not be said that you are being decieved....

Yer she is looking for more than a friend, here. I would be putting my foot down. Tell her she is welcome to continue this "new friendship" without you and her daughter. and see how she reacts to that.

Put your foot down if you do not like it. Talk to her letting her know you do not want her to do it anymore or you will leave.
