The front has indipendent suspension and the rear has leaf springs

If you can afford it why not. If you don't need to then don't. I'm not a suspension expert but if you have rear leaf springs are you sure you have rear shocks also? You should get an alignment inspection done at a credible shop to see if your shocks are the only things needing replacement. After you do the work you will need an alignment so look for a shop that does lifetimes. It usually cost less the $250.

The rear also must have shocks ,If not,your car would be swaying and bouncing as you ride,.The answer to your question is yes,you should change front and rear at the same time but if you are strapped for cash ,Do the front first and the rear later when you can.

Yes, but in sets of front and rear. If you can afford it, replace all 4. Good shocks and struts come with a ltd lifetime warranties.

I would, the front and the rear both run over the same bumps and pot holes. This way the ride should be like new again.

Old saying in auto parts is---if one goes the others arent far behind.you can get shocks for $20 on up

Yes. The handling would be pretty strange without matched shocks.

yes always replace in pairs old mixed with new is not good
