Hi, I'm buying a wrx 05 in november this year and I would like to know the difference bet a twin muffler and single, i had a 99 wrx a couple years ago and put the 2 and half inch from the cat back i think and got the cannon exhaust, that was loud, i was wondering if i got the cat back 2 1/2 and a twin muffler would that be much quiter then the cannon, i dont want it to be noisy in the mornings but when i give it i want the perring sound to be there aswell. so really would the twin be half the noise as the cannon? and would it make much noise diff if i didnt get the catback and got the muffler ???? thanks for you time :)

with twin pipes the sound would be the same.. if you want both scream and dream, get those aftermarket exhaust system that made for a concern man like you (heh).. i would go for GReedy SP2 or EVo2 model for that particular silent beast tune.. or opt for HKS silent Hi-power exhaust.. the name sez it all..
