Well most of my friends and I like earings better. But if it's a gift from a guy I think a necklace would be better...and if you purchase a ring won't that kind of make her think that you're proposing?...then you'll have to explain to her that you're not...embarassing and/or dissapointing for the woman's part really.

Ring, I guess. I am not much of a jewelry person, myself. I have been married for 16 years but I hardly ever wear my wedding ring....not because I am trying to hide the fact I am married and/or I am "looking" (I am most certainly NOT!!!!) but because I hate the feel of a ring on my hand.
I'll take cold, hard cash any day.
If you are worried about losing your woman, maybe you should do something more from the heart/emotions than falling back on the old cliche of jewelry. Unless you feel she can be bought....then let the spark-lies begin!!!!! Otherwise, remember the old beatles song: Can't Buy Me Love!!!!
And to the person below me, please don't speak for all women....all of us most certainly DO NOT like jewelry!

If you go the earring route be sure to give her two :)
Rings are more symbolic of lasting love. If you're getting her jewelry to keep her, it all depends on your relationship, but she could resent a ring if she really is ready to bolt.
I got a necklace from a bf once and I thought it was really sweet.
I think girls like all jewelry.

In ur case a ring will help alot.
This would give u an idea whether she wants to continue wid u or not.
Ring basically is a symbol of seriousness. But if she dont love u nothing will help u out.
So best of luck

think about it this way......if you go up to her...with earings.....it wouldnt seem very romantic while ur making her wear them.....infact, it'll look dumb and u might damage her ear !!!
Making her wear a necklace would look cute but u might pull her hair by mistake.....which wud totally hurt her.....
A ring is the best thing to give her......especially cuz u might lose her (GOD FORBID)........it'll seem cute and there are several choices in rings !!!!!!!!
Best of luck !!!!!!

R-I-N-G. In your case, you should be able to analyze the situation why you might lose her, coz any jewelry won't stop her from going. The situation might needs a ring...:-)

depends how long you been together and how serious you are about her, if you been together ages and are serious, then a ring. Otherwise id say a necklace - its more noticable than earrings.

I prefer earrings; but you should go with what your lady likes. If you know the sorts of things she habitually wears, then that's a good bet. If not... then maybe you're losing her because you're not paying enough attention.
